A “Scientist,” but not a Christian?

Mary Jo & I just had a parent tell us that their son recently told her that he wanted to be a “scientist,” not a Christian. Oh, my! He is certainly suffering under the influence of too many who are telling him, “If you want to be a scientist you have to leave your faith out of it.”  To make matters worse, the son was getting this at a private “religious” school!  Lanny Johnson had just finished writing an article for the next issue of Kids Think and Believe which addresses just exactly that issue, so we told the mom about it and put her on the mailing list. Her son should get this article. He certainly needs it! We hope it will help this young child see that he can be a Christian and one who does great science.

Think & Believe!
