Hints of Life on Saturn Moon

If you saw an article with this title, what would you think?

Obviously, you’d think somebody had found evidence for life on one of Saturn’s moons.

Well, the title is real. But its implication is not.

The article appeared earlier this year in New Scientist [2], a respected scientific journal. It described an analysis of certain chemicals on Saturn’s moon Titan.

The analysis did not reveal any evidence of life. Instead, evolutionists are speculating that life exists, based on an *absence* of evidence.

Scientists have been using the Cassini spacecraft to analyze Titan’s surface. Among other things, evolutionists had expected to find lots of hydrogen and acetylene on the moon, because ultraviolet sunlight should produce them in Titan’s atmosphere.

If Titan were really billions of years old, there has been plenty of time for the moon to accumulate hydrogen and acetylene. But Cassini found very little of these.

This isn’t the first time that Cassini and Titan have contradicted predictions from the billions-of-years model. I talked about this in my Solar System DVD. Before Cassini arrived, evolutionists had predicted a deep ocean of ethane and methane on Titan’s surface, built up over billions of years. But when Cassini arrived, we saw that no such ocean exists.

Despite all this, evolutionists are still refusing to question the billions-of-years model.

So according to the evolutionists, why are the chemicals missing?

Because some exotic form of alien life is eating them.

And there you have it. That’s how the lack of hydrogen and acetylene becomes “hints of life” on Titan.

Anybody who’s studied logic knows that a flawed premise leads to a flawed conclusion. Here we see that when you decide that the billions-of-years idea is a fact, your ultimate conclusions will turn out to be ridiculous.

And in another example of this, there were the recent announcements that…  The Moon is dry, the evolutionary model is saved. Oops, maybe not. Never mind again.
