Note:   Sensationalized news reports make it sound like Yellowstone is erupting. This is not the case. It is not lava-type volcanic activity. The main event, along with the photos being shown, occurred in July LAST year. It was a localized water/steam event at one of the vast number of hot springs pools due to constriction and clearing. Yes, the Park closed that boardwalk area and is still monitoring activity. There have been much smaller events since then at the same site. Contrary to news reports, it is not creating havoc. It did not affect AOI’s tours last year and we don’t expect to find any issues this year. Yellowstone is an active hot springs and geyser area and that is what YNP is famous for. There are inherent dangers. However, I think there is more danger crossing a street in most cities than there is at Yellowstone! – Dave

Choose Your Tour:

June 16 – 20, 2025

Aug 25 – 29, 2025

Join experienced creation teachers, Dave & Mary Jo Nutting and Dr. Alan & Diane Galbraith, to experience Yellowstone on this creation-based Yellowstone1_000bus tour of Yellowstone National Park. Visit famous sites like Old Faithful, Artist Point, Mammoth Hot Springs, and other natural wonders. See geysers, hot pools, mud pots, geology, wildlife, and amazing scenery. Orientation, meals, lodging and additional creation teaching will be at Old Faithful Christian Ranch near Island Park, Idaho, west of Yellowstone. These adventures include dynamic Creation presentations and on-site Yellowstone experiences to fortify you and your family to stand firmly on the Truth of God’s Word. Be equipped to survive the evolutionary, naturalistic worldview philosophies that are so prevalent in our society today while you and your family thoroughly enjoy the famous Yellowstone scenery and features with your Creation guides.

Description: The tour begins Monday afternoon with a 4 -5:30 PM registration followed by a 6PM supper at Old Faithful Christian Ranch. An evening session will orient you to the field excursion and give you evidence for creation and major problems with the evolutionary theory. The next two days, we will pack our lunches and depart after breakfast in the camp bus to Yellowstone National Park to see many of the features Yellowstone is famous for: Amazing geology, biology, wildlife, fascinating design features, spectacular geysers & hot pools, waterfalls and other beautiful scenery including Artist point at the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Teaching will be at the sites and along the way in the bus. Expect some shorter (very easy) hikes at various sites while some longer hikes are available if desired. After each day we return for dinner and lodging at Old Faithful Christian Ranch with likely worship and additional teaching.

On Thursday morning we have more creation teaching at the ranch along with an optional (included) bus trip to Earthquake Lake. That day you can choose your favorite option or two or three:

  • Take part in fun family or kid’s activities at the camp including the water slide and canoeing on a beautiful crystal-clear river (canoes provided);
  • Go back into the Park to see additional sites;
  • Visit: Big Springs where the river begins;
  • Visit the gorgeous Mesa Falls;
  • Visit the Imax theater or the Grizzly and Wolf encounter (entry fees)
  • Visit the Teton’s National Park (or save this for your trip back home)

On Friday, depart for home or your next exciting place to visit.

Accommodations: Old Faithful Christian Ranch is located near Island Park, Idaho and will accommodate families, groups, and individuals. Stay in rustic bunk family cabins that each have 10-14 bunk beds. We will attempt to place families in individual cabins when requested and if available. Some may need or prefer to utilize separate men’s and lady’s bunkhouses. Although there are no bathrooms in the bunkhouses, there are 2 sets of men’s and ladies modern bath houses each with multiple sinks, modern toilets, and showers. If you wish, you can reserve motel rooms in nearby Island Park and still take part in all of the tour, meals, and activities. For those bringing an RV, Old Faithful Christian Ranch has a large RV park with five back in sites and five pull through sites. All the sites have hook ups for water and electric. Dumping by request.

The camp is excellent about accommodating special dietary restrictions, so please let us know in advance of any special needs.
