From our experience talking with people all over regarding the intersection of faith and science, we consistently run into the idea that many think faith is a belief in something with no evidence for it or even in opposition to the evidence. This is not a correct definition of faith! Our faith is reasonable and is based in scientific and philosophical evidence. In fact, given facts and pieces of evidence, every person has to have faith or trust in how to best understand the evidence at hand. Our confidence/trust/faith is strengthened in our Creator based on the evidence available to us in the world today.
