On a recent trip to Nebraska, while visiting our daughter’s family for the birth of our granddaughter, the church where our son-in-law pastors decided to set up an impromptu three night creation seminar (knowing that Rich was visiting). We had really come to help take care of our one year old grandson during this time, but the Lord allowed us also to be used to train others, specifically some youth who needed answers for a conversation they would be having with an evolutionist. The following is a text that was received by our daughter from one of the individuals who had attended.
Below is the text we received from our daughter.
“I just got this from the oldest Turek girl.
Hi Abby! I was wondering if u would please thank ur dad (Mr. Richard) on behalf of us? My sisters & I discussed evolution w/ an evolutionist last night & we debunked everything she threw @ us. Evolvement, global warming, Darwin’s theory on the finches, etc. & we wouldn’t have been able to win that argument if we had not taken that class. Olivia gave her the Alpha Omega webpage so she could determine for herself if what we said was true or not. I just thought he’d like to know that his free class wasn’t a waste of time!;) I appreciated his class, very much!-m”
