“In other words, the history of any one part of the earth, like the life of a soldier, consists of long periods of boredom and short periods of terror.” -Derek Ager , The Nature of the Stratigraphical Record, pp 106, 107.
This quote is from a naturalistic scientist and he admits that catastrophe is clear when looking at the fossil record and rock layers. Naturalistic scientists then assume that there are often large gaps of time between catastrophes, but gaps of time have left no evidence of erosion between the rock layers. That time is assumed by naturalists, but we assume that that time is imaginary. -Brian Mariani
