Scientific conclusions are based on some element of faith. Now we have to define “faith.” Some define faith as believing in something with no evidence for it. This is absolutely not the definition of faith, though it would be the definition of blind faith. Faith, even in religion or God, is very often associated with evidence.
In the quote here, this scientist shows his bias and shows his faith – and blind faith, in this case. He is not being open-minded to consider or see the abundant evidence for God!
