Campers can find and identify mountain wildflowers on a guided flower walk. Wildlife is also abundant whether it be wild turkey, deer, elk, birds, butterflies, beaver, or even bear (if you're lucky). Bring your camera!

Hike in some of this nations most beautiful mountain scenery! A short hike up Old Man Mountain (one of the Twin Peaks) gives a wonderful view of the camp and the valley below. Or there are many other beautiful scenic hikes alongside mountain lakes and forests. Scenes of wildflowers, wildlife and geologic features will be permanently etched in your memory. You may hike on your own or join a group.
