About the Camp
Location: Horn Creek Camp is nestled at 9,000’ elevation on the slopes of the beautiful Sangre de Cristo Mountains, near the picturesque town of Westcliffe, in south-central Colorado.
Meals and Lodging: Horn Creek provides great facilities for the program and comfortable lodging for individuals, families, and groups. Delicious meals are prepared by a chef and served by waiters and waitresses. You will also enjoy the salad bars and breakfast bars. Bag lunches are available if your activity takes you off camp property over the lunch hour. The mini-lodge facility has large and spacious rooms which sleep 6 and have private baths. It also has a large lounge with a beautiful fireplace and a hot tub room! Contact us if you have a larger group; we may be able to arrange for a large private cabin.

Join professional guides for an exciting ½ day of whitewater rafting or inflatable kayaking through the amazing rapids of Bighorn Sheep Canyon or the Royal Gorge on Colorado’s Arkansas River. A fun and challenging ½ day of guided outdoor rock climbing is also available.
Since the camp borders the National Forest, additional fishing and biking (bring your own) are popular for many guests. You may also take a hike to spectacular high altitude lakes or even climb a nearby 14,000 foot mountain peak. It’s your choice – there is so much to do! Not even the most active teen should be bored, but most likely will want to come back!
