Vacation Travel Helps Kids Achieve

For years, we have called our Creation Family Mountain Adventures, “Vacations With a Purpose.” We designed them to be times of family fun and learning together in God’s great creation. Now we have further “fuel” for our thinking.

“According to a press release … from VacationBetter.org, ‘Analysis of a U.S. Department of Education study found that children who travel over summer break … did better in reading, math, and general knowledge than their peers who didn’t vacation.’  … The results revealed a significant difference in academic achievement correlated with taking a family summer vacation trip.” (From Practical Homeschooling April/May/June 2010)

So, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or friends — give your kids a “boost.” Bring them to an AOI Creation Family Mountain Adventure this summer. Dynamic creation teaching, exciting recreational activities, great food, family fun, new friends … and maybe even better grades in school … (and moms, wouldn’t you love a week off from cooking?)  Check it out at: www.discovercreation.org/vacations.htm.  Hope to see you in the beautiful mountains of Colorado this summer!
